- The cause of your problem is very simple. By setting S32=16 you have disabled
- V.8 . V.8 is required for V.34 operation, when it is disabled the next
- available protocol is V.FC. If your ISP doesn't support V.FC (many don't)
- then the next available protocol is V32bis (14.4k). Set S32=18 and you'll
- disable V.34+ and reenable V.8. You should have no problems connecting at
- V.34. If you still do you might want to set S15=128 to disable V.42 and force
- MNP. Some Motorola rack systems have problems with V.42 and USR.
